FIBROCEL: CELLULOSE FIBER FOR SMA / HMA
The latest technology for the production of cellulose additives for crushed-mastic asphalt concrete was founded in Turkey in 2012 with the support of a research and production company from the United States, which has more than 30 years of experience in the study and application of various types of fibers. The application for a patent for manufacturing technology has been approved and is currently under patent confirmation by the Swiss Federal Institute of intellectual property.
Products under the brand name FIBROCEL began to be used in the European road construction market in 2013 and quickly gained an excellent reputation for their high quality and competitive price.
The products have been tested and successfully applied in road projects in Ukraine. This success was the reason for the next stage of cooperation – the transfer of the full production cycle to Ukraine with a priority focus on the promising domestic market and neighboring markets of Eastern Europe and Asia.
In may 2019, new equipment made directly to order by SPE DORTEK LTD was put into operation, and in June of the same year, the first Ukrainian-made fibrocel cellulose fiber products were used in road construction.
In 2020, the production capacity of 5700 tons of FIBROCEL per year will be reached, and in the future it is planned to increase it to 10,000 tons per year.

FIBROCEL is very safe and easy in handling. It is a dense material with advanced flow properties and quick and safe dispersion in the asphalt mixer.It can be added by means of standard dosage systems.As the nature of the product and its focused purpose is to adsorb liquids the material may not be exposed to water.
